DAMN, left my iphone in my pocket. just finished the washing.

Has anyone ever brought one back from water damage.

Should i buy a new one, or can apple fix it for a decent price.

My son's iphone took a dip in a swimming pool. I almost got it working. I had to take it apart and clean the boards with alcohol because there was some corrosion from the chlorinated water. Everything works fine now except the battery. It has a good charge on it, but the iphone sees it as being less than 10%. I have run the phone off a 3.7v power source and it is working. I just need to fine a replacement battery and the small circuit board that sits right on top of the battery.

Make sure it's powered off and submerge it in a bowl full of dry, raw rice ASAP. It will suck all the water out. Don't even attempt to turn it on for 48 hours.
