Help: I've installed something which has caused system preferences to break

I just tried installing this graphics driver and it installed okay but now when I open system prefs I get the error "System Preferences has quit unexpectedly"
I's there a way to uninstall the driver?

try to replace system prefs, you can get it off your install disk.

~/Library/PreferencePanes

or

/System/Library/PreferencePanes

try to replace system prefs, you can get it off your install disk.

Doing that will leave the pane that caused it to crash in place.

Perhaps the preference pane that was added is causing the problem. Try removing the plist out of ~/Library/Preferences or /Library/Preferences
