Hi everyone! Ive had my iPhone 6 jailbroken since the jailbreak came out but now I'm having some problems. Something is causing my battery to drain really really quickly. And I mean like 100%-70% within an hour of NO USE AT ALL. According to battery usage Home & Lock screen are using a lot of battery. I though the problem was bio protect so I uninstalled it along with a bunch of other tweaks and the battery drain stopped but a few days later it started again and I haven't installed any tweaks lately...

T-Mobile iPhone 6 64GB
IOS 8.1.1

There is a Pangu 8.0-8.1.x Untether update listed in cydia under changed but I don't want to update it because last time I tried it caused my iPhone not to boot and I had to restore it. The problem now is IOS 8.1.3 came out witch is unjailbreakable so if I had to restore my iPhone it would automatically update to that and I wouldn't be able to jailbreak

Ace Yose 81

I'm assuming you used taig to jailbreak. If so, do you need the pangu stuff?

I didn't use Taig, I used Pangu. I never even heard of Taig until today actually

----------

How do you know it's not an app from the App Store? Certainly you've added some of those as you were adding these tweaks.
If it were an app from the App Store I thought it would show under batter usage. Also I have most location services and push notifications disabled except the ones I use often.

I didn't think one could use Pangu after iOS 8.1.1.

Lol....regardless what version or jailbreak you used, first thing would be to remove appsync, appcake, and any pirated tweaks. Most battery problems are caused by using these applications to install cracked apps.

I will uninstall those but I've had them installed since I jailbroke my phone and they never caused any issues

You're going to get over a thousand people saying "uninstall x app, it caused battery drain for me" and pretty much you're going to be left with a stock OS. What apps did you recently uninstall?

Could be in my head but I never had good luck with f.lux and battery drain. Seems like it always killed my battery and I always had to do a restore to fix it even if I uninstalled it. I know other people that use it and no complaints, plus, it's a hugely popular tweak so I figure it's probably okay...just my experience. My new 8.1.2 jailbreak with Taig and never having installed f.lux, no issues.

I would start by removing all your cracked and pirated cydia apps and pay the hard working app developers the money they deserve.

This has nothing to do with drain on the battery though.

X2. Cracked apps do not have anything to do with the battery drain.

Op, Auxo 3 was the culprit for me. I get around an extra hour now after removing it. So around 6 1/2 hours a day. Still not great but better then 5-5 1/2 with Auxo 3.

uninstall activator and see if it helps. it was killing my battery.

I want to uninstall activator but for some reason when ever I uninstall it it automatically uninstalls Polus and I need that tweak

----------

For me it was Auxo 3, i uninstalled and installed Vertex instead.

Ill give that a try, thanks

----------

I'd remove these three and see if you notice any battery improvement.

I removed those and I'll get to see tomorrow if my battery will last.

THANKS!
