Help jailbreaking and unlock 1.1.4 to 2.x

I have a first gen iPhone and I am wondering how to jailbreak it and if possible unlock. I do not understand the concept of the bootloader or bootnueter. So If anyone has the answer please give me your feedback.

There are lots of tutorials available. (http://lifehacker.com/398906/jailbreak-iphone-20-with-pwnagetool) My 2G 1.1.4 was unlocked/jailbroken with ziphone but I did the 2.0-2.0.1-2.0.2 upgrades with pwnage and everything was perfect. I never did it before but following the step by step tutorial it was easy. Just download the latest PwnageTool and it should work. I did the 2.0.2 upgrade a few days ago.
