Help Jailbreaking and Unlocking 3G

My 3G Was a refurb maybe 2 months ago, and im selling it soon, so in a bid to increase its value, i want to Jailbreak and if possible unlock it.

Current on 2.2.1 and 02.30.03. Have Access to a Laptop Running XP, a PC Running Windows 7, and my MacBook Pro running 10.5.7.

All iTunes are 8.2 i Believe.

Basically, what do i need? Done it before, but it failed, something to do with 10.5.6 or something like that.

Wise Men of the Jailbreaking community, please help 😛

Shocked there's no replies yet. Anyway... To jailbreak, you can't have iTunes 8.2. it needs to be downgraded on one of your computers. I'd suggest a Windows one as Quickpwn has no DFU issues on windows. After you've downgraded just run Quickpwn and let it do it's magic. Unfortunately, you can't unlock 02.30.03 yet. Maybe next week, but not guaranteed. They'd have to get a sim unlock to go with it. (And from experience, it's not the best.) I'd offer it in jailbroken and un-jailbroken flavors. Some people are legit users.

Will do it on one of my PC's then, as i sync with the MacBook Pro.

Will Jailbreak to check its all smooth sailing. Then When 3.0 Comes out, unjailbreak to play with that, then Sell it as Jailbroken, but can be shipped with 3.0.

Would Unlocking be announced 17th or 19th?

iPhone is now Jailbroken! Just trying to find out if i can unlock at this stage....
