What sort of card do you have? USB?

If so, I see no reason why it wouldn't work. (I have yet to use an OS X system that the software wouldn't work fact I use my Verizon USB 3g card on both linux and Mac systems without issue)

iMav made a pretty good point, if you have a USB card, then you should have no problem. However, if you use your broadband with an express card (or a PC card), you are out of look with a Macbook. For a express card slot, you will need a MacBook Pro.
