Sorry to post in two areas at once, but I am freaking out and want as much help as possible.

Started up my 3 day old MBP and saw vertical multi-colored lines followed by a kernel panic. This happened several times and after resetting the pram it started up fine. I put the hardware test disc in and tried to start up from it...no dice, another kernel panic. Several tries later and now I'm running Hardware test. It passed on all fields under quick test. What do I do?

Passed extended Hardware Test. Booted up fine, I verified the disk and repaired permissions, gave me a lot of warnings in disk utility.

    This is the error report.

I have a MacBook that is experiencing exactly the same problem since upgrading to Leopard. I've had the lines and it lock up or reboot on me half a dozen times in the last few days. Very annoying.

I spent about 2.5 hrs. on the phone with applecare today, they said my hardware is fine...

Apparently I screwed it up myself, my disk failed verification when I first installed leopard (cause I suck) and I tried to repair it with the original Tiger disks...basically it snowballed from there.
