i have this monitor(lg ips235p),but when i connect with hdmi my new mac mini the monitor doesn't find a signal,it gives me message "check signal cable"...what's the problem??

I have the exactly same monitor and use it with Mid 2011 mini without any problems... No matter what output i use, although I have noticed that if I use HDMI to HDMI the colors are not that vibrant so I am using mini display to DVI adapter... No problems whatsoever... Sadly, I have no Mac Mini 2012 experience, although I would like to have some...😉
