Hello, I have a MBA M1 and it is on Big Sur 11.1. My problem is I have a TEAC USB DAC Amplifier that requires a driver (kext) from their website in order to work.

I had it working fine on a Hackintosh with Big Sur by using Kext-Droplet but it doesn't seem to be working on my M1.

I have changed the Security to allow user management of kext in Recovery and disabled SIP temporarily as suggested by Kext-Droplet. Below is the information about the extension in System Information.

*Sorry of this is in the wrong forum!

The kext needs to be recompiled for arm64. A x86_64 kext can't be loaded on a arm64 kernel.

 Thank you for that information. So I guess I am out of luck getting my old DAC working with my new M1?
