So I was messing with installing lion and i messed up and hit the wrong button in disk utility and deleted my OS X partition

my problem is that i dont know where my restore drive is (it got lost when i moved).

Does anyone know what version of OS X has to be install. I've tried using a snow leopard disk and i either get a prohibited sign (/) or else i get the gray restart screen.

anyone know what i can do? I basically have 1400 worthless brick right now

If you were trying to install Lion, you should know the answers to all these questions.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8F190 Safari/6533.18.5)

Call apple. They will charge you for the USB replacement. Don't mention Lion.
