Hello

I have a somewhat unusual task to undertake.

I am a Mac lover but needed a netbook so I bought an HP Mini 1000, which runs XP and does not have an optical drive.

I want to install Microsoft Office on the netbook. I have a genuine CD

I need to use my MacBook Pro to make a working image of the office CD, so that I may transfer the image to my netbook, mount it using daemon tools, and install it to the netbook as if I had the CD in a drive.

I don't know how, though. That's what I was hoping you might help me with.

I have Toast Titanium, just in case that helps.

thanks,

Arrrbee

Open Disk Utility- you can Spotlight this, or just go into Utilities folder in Applications.
Then, you should be able to find an option for making new disk images in the file menu.
Choose the from disk option.
Then, after getting the image, somehow transfer it onto your PC.
Good luck!
