This never happens when I was with Tiger!

Is there a setting etc. I need to change to stop the screen from flashing when I'm scrolling down web pages?

    Please help!

    Thank you

When you say flashing, do you mean that the display skips frames while scrolling down? Or is it some sort of bright, white out flash everytime you scroll down?

And does it happen only when you scroll down webpages?

MOre like skip frames I'd say. And yeah it only happens during scrolling down web pages.

Did you ever resolve this problem? I've also got this problem (MBP, on Snow Leopard). Frames are being skipped. This also happens on my new iMac.

2 different machines, one fault? Probably PEBCAK. You're fully updated to 10.6.4 and Flash 10.1, right?

Yeah, latest version of these and everything else in Software Update. Problem typically happens in Firefox but it also occurs in other applications, such as games like StarCraft 2 (most noticeably during the end credits).
