It's happened to me before. The first time, when it would tell me that I had to restart to install the updates, I would. It would just go straight to the blue screen with the spinning wheel and not restart.
After putting in my installation cd and restoring from an earlier point thanks to my backup drive, it worked smoothly again and restarted after installing.
Now, I did the software update which came out either yesterday or today (no Lion yet). It told me to restart to install, so I clicked restart. It started installing, and then afterwards went to the blue screen with the spinning wheel and never restarted. I left my MBP up for about an hour at that screen with no luck.
What's the problem and how can I fix it? Would become annoying if I had to keep restoring from an earlier point.
Also, I dropped my iphone 3gs in some water today. Going to have to get a replacement. Anyone know how much it would cost to get a new iphone 3GS?
