Help, MBP won't sleep.

Hi there,

My unibody MBP refuses to sleep. When I close the lid, (or make it sleep through menu bar), the screen turns off, but the computer keeps working. I've left it like that for 30 mins, and when I got back it was still working. And the worst part is that when I open the screen back up, the screen does not turn back on, and I have to hold the power button to restart.

I've tried repairing disk permissions and no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

got it sorted out,

Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) fixed it, if anyone is interested..
