I’m having trouble here. I realized that I’d like a keyboard with a touchpad. I tried the Logitech Combo Touch. I could accept its high price, but you can’t open the cover all the way and fold it against the back without the keyboard popping off. So, if you want to hold teh iPad like a magazine, you’ve got this big cover/keyboard flopping around. I could just detach the keyboard, but then I’ve got this expensive keyboard lying around or shoved into my bag and it’s going to get broken. And, the pencil just attached to the edge by a magnet, so it falls off at the slightest touch.

Then I tried the Zagg Pro Keys, which is great, but lacks the track pad. (I didn’t realize how much I’d want the track pad, but if you’re using the iPad with a keyboard like a lap top, the track pad is pretty important.). Zagg doesn’t seem to make a touchpad model for the 13” Air.

Anyone know if the Logitech Folio Touch will open all the way to allow the cover to rest against the back? The images I can find on-line suggest it doesn’t. I think the Apple Magic can do what I want, but I can’t justify paying that price.

I'll check it out, but I'm not sure it will open fully. I think I have to decide how important the keyboard is to me. If I want the keyboard, I think I need the trackpad. But, of course, with the keyboard on a 13" Air, it's pretty much just a laptop, so I can just carry my laptop around. (Although the laptop is a bit heavier.). If I don't need the keyboard, I can just get an inexpensive cover, which has always sufficed in the past.
