Hello everyone,
I'm a doctor who's buying an ipad for studying and some drawing. I was fixed on buying the new M4 Ipad Air especially with the rumors of it getting the OLED diplay which turned out to be not true. I found a deal of M4 ipad pro which is only 35 USD higher than the M3 Ipad Air. Please help me choose right. Should I go with the newer air 2 more years supported and cooler colors or go with the Old pro with the OLED display and 120 HZ but I fear the burn in.
Thanks in advance.

The M4 Pro for sure. Mine will be 2 years old in July and there's zero burn-in anywhere. The OLED/120hz is a joy to use and certainly falls under the definition of eye candy.

Count me among those voting for the Pro in this scenario. Two words: Face ID. And if you plan to use the speakers on your iPad, the Pro models have significantly better sound than the Air or base models.

OP its practically a no brainer on this one, the iPP M4 without a doubt. The Tandem OLED (double stacked OLED panels) practically eliminates the 2 main disadvantages of regular OLED screens, namely lower peak brightness and burn in.

If you have PWM sensitivity though, then the Tandem OLED has really bad flicker at low brightness, so in this case I would recommend the iPad Air.

Get the M4 Pro for sure! You’ll love the much brighter OLED screen with the faster refresh rate. Don’t worry about burn in, it’s not an issue at all since Apple used Double stacked OLED panels. 👍🏼 You’ll also appreciate face ID. It’s so quick & convenient compared to touch ID. Don’t worry about support either. Ipad Pros last forever. I’m still using one that’s 7 years old!
