So I just had to to restart my macbook air due to a problem
and here is the report:
Does it happen with regularity? If not, there is nothing to worry about.
Anyway, can you post the full report?
Can't help with the diagnosis but I can suggest updating to 10.6.8
No this is the first time it has happened.
I copied the report as it is from Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports so I guess that is everything?
does the above show the cause?
Really? I donnu, I upgraded my macbook pro to 10.6.8 not so long ago and it caused a nasty KP. Lost everything, it was a nightmare. But it was due to some incompatible version of an application "Hands Off". So don't see a reason for it to happen on my mb air so might as well upgrade.
User installed RAM upgrades can cause panics.
Ram is soldered onto the logicboard of Macbook Airs and is not upgradable.
Are there any other application crashes in the log? Old versions of Parallels Desktop caused kernel panics on my 2010 MacBook Air, but they usually showed up in the log. A bad logic board can also cause panics, but if that's the case, you'll get them all the time, rather than just once.
ok i got another restart just now
