ah ok thanks, it says "Location Services for Facebook is only available on a mobile Android or iOS device" so does that mean if I only use Facebook on desktop it doesn't use my location? thanks

If you use Facebook via the computer, your online location is not known by other people, unless you make a point to share that information manually.
