Hey all, I've been searching for months to find a case for my green 12 mini to fit these criteria:
  1. Matte or rubberized finish
  2. Colors other than black/navy/pink sand (why do so many cases come in only these colors, lol)
  3. Fun pattern/design
  4. Decent protection
It feels like there's a pretty harsh dichotomy between traditionally 'masculine' and 'feminine' cases. Matte cases are often plain and rugged, and the more "fun" cases are almost always glossy plastic, which is pretty annoying when you want a combo. I had and loved the Spigen Classic C1 for the iPhone 8 and the Tech21 Remix In Motion for the 11 Pro.

Anyone else in the same boat? Any suggestions for a case that fits those criteria? Thanks so much :)

Have you looked at castify? They have a ton of cases as well as being able to customize some. They may have what you’re looking for. Also, Pela, Tech 21 (as you mentioned), Speck and Kate Spade have some pretty cool patterned cases. I hope that helps a little.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Unfortunately just about all of those are glossy, which I'm trying to avoid 😣

There are companies that will customize a case with a print of your choice. It could get spendy but if you want something out of the ordinary that is to be expected. If you have an artistic flair you could personalize an ordinary case into something more yourself. Or maybe you have a friend who is. My daughter did something like this for a friends guitar pick guard.

Try redbubble cases, the soft case. You are bound to find a pattern you like there!
Lots of fun patterns on there. I found my next case.
