Hello, i got iPhone X since few days and of course added front tempered but its 1k phone, i wouldn't let drop into the floor!

I am looking for a thin case that doesn't hide the beauty of iPhone X (gorgeous):

- Not too thin, i want minimal protection

- Clear that doesnt wear out into yellowish tint and get scratched too quickly

Those Spigen clear cases are for example too thick for my taste
I dont want too thin cases such as Totallee/Peel either (whats the point to add such cover if it doesnt provide any drop protection?!)
I read many reviews/comments on Amazon, some point out clear case may scratch phone within case ,wtf?!
I m also wondering which material would suit better for my criteria, Hard vs Soft clear TPU?

Thanks for any suggestion

Does it worth 25$?
Typical clear cases cost around 10$ if not under 5$

Yeah well they're the ones that'll most likely turn yellow.

I'm not into clear cases myself, but if I were, I'd try this one...
https://www.iamprodigee.com/products/scene-clear-for-iphone-x

I've used a couple of Prodigee cases in the past & can recommend them as a quality product.

There's also this one...though, I can't comment on its quality as I have the black one in transit now....

Cool, thanks for sharing Prodigee cases
It has been described as anti yellowing?
Is that true?

He said Humixx ones are rather good

That's their claim. But without using that particular case myself, I can't verify it...

I've been using this Ringke case for a month now and really like it. Gives the perfect amount of grip, enough protection for my satisfaction, and hasn't shown any signs of yellowing.

Is there any difference between soft/flexible and hard clear case?

Which one to pick?

I think hard clear cases provide sightly more drop protection but its thicker, right?

I steer clear of the flexible ones. They risk loosening over time, & then you get that air gap between the case/phone which feels looks cheap.

I prefer Polycarbonate, hard plastic myself.

I eventually ordered Humixx clear case from the YT link i ve showed
If not satisfied, i would pick like you claim, hard plastic one

https://www.amazon.com/iPhone-HUMIX...id=1523834675&sr=8-8&keywords=humixx+iphone+x

I had similar case for SE:

Pros
+ Texture is so smooth and soft
+ Very good hand grip as well

Cons
- Major one, painting coat quickly wore out from silver color to bronze color lol
- Many visible scratches too

I received it from today and very disapointed
I thought it was an hard clear case, but its actually soft on side, semi hard on back
There is also some loosening on side cover as if there is a tiny gap between phone and side cover
Last but not least, i expected more about aesthestic
iPhone X + clear case doesnt seem to match together, its weird but i didnt like it at all lol

Yeah with those cheap cases on Amazon, you usually get what you pay for.

I just posted a first impressions summary of the second case I mentioned above here. (Matt black, not clear).

Let me see if I’m reading this right
  • You asked for the best thing case.
  • Several of the best were recommended.
  • You ignored said recommendations and instead ordered a crap Amazon case.
  • You were disappointed with said crap Amazon case.
  • You still ignored the recommendations.
  • Now you’ve ordered a crap eBay case?
Does that about sum it up?

Why ask for advice at all?!?

Suggestion/recommendation, it doesnt mean i have to follow everybody's taste
Its a matter of taste, for example, Ralfi's case looks great but it does not suit to me (x silver, more looking for white/silver one, i am done with clear/transparent cases)
I said i am disapointed about clear cases, you can suggest every clear case on market, i wont pick it again
Clear cases will most likely turn into yellow, no exception
Clear cases most likely attract dust and dirty
Clear cases most likey get scratched
There are many cons which i should be aware before ordering it, my bad i know
You claim its crap, did i?
All those cases are factored in China like iPhone X, i dont see any crap just because its not branded spigen or whatever
Just search iPhone X best cases review and you will get sponsorised branded cases, same branded case models, every time

Nice rant.

You asked for the best. It was suggested. You complained about price.

You paid crap and got crap. End of story.

I will never understand people like you.

Neither i will understand like you making such value judgement
Did i said it was crap?
Disapointed doesnt mean its garbage
Read my posts again
Prove me there are a difference between all those cases, branded/random/whatever cases
Real question
I am open to any suggestion/advice/recommandation as i said previously
And be polite, using an agressive tone is pointless

No, you’re not open. You’ve ignored advice given to you, so I won’t waste any of my time further. I’ll just leave you with these.

Dude you were given an excellent recommendation in the second post (Caudabe Lucid clear) but its clear you don't want to spend $25 despite spending $1000 on a phone. You want an el-cheapo case for $5 which you want to be the 'bestest' case ever invented...sorry not gonna happen. You get what you pay for.

Btw I have the Caudabe Lucid Clear in Silver Metallic and it makes my silver iphone X look even better. I've tried nearly every clear/almost clear case but they make my iphone X look cheap and tacky, only the Lucid Clear Metallic Silver looks classy.
