Help me - how do I know which OS version I have?

i just buy an new macbook? how do i tell if i have the new version software on it? like snow leopard?

Click on the apple symbol in the upper left hand corner of the screen. Go down to "About this Mac" and check that your software version is 10.6x.

I think, I'm not on my laptop, it is F5 and F6 to adjust.
10.6.1 is the latest.

Plastic MacBooks don't have backlit keyboards. MacBook Pros do.

Is your computer white plastic? If so, it does not have a backlit keyboard.

Those are overrated anyways. I disabled mine.

I improvised...I tilt the monitor down 😱 it's a terrible habit that increases the wear and tear... but muscle memory is a powerful thing
