should i buy a apple 24 LED + the new white macbook(4gb)

or the new 27'' iMac i5 ?

i will use it to do freelancing web development.

...that's a huge difference in computing power if you're talking about one of the i(X) models of iMac processor compared to the whitebook...

Also, there's lots of good monitors out there cheaper than the ACD that you could hook up the whitebook too...

The iMac isn't really portable.

24" Apple monitor might be the last on my list of 24" screens, but maybe the most expensive.
