I did the evasion jailbreak on my iphone 5 and it got stuck at the apple logo and it still is, it's been doing it for 5 hours now. I need help so bad. I have a broken lock button and it is stuck in a reboot loop and I have no way of getting it into dfu mode. Please help. I'm crying.🙁

in addition...you've already asked for help once and people have provided options...no need to create a separate post

You can still restore without going to dfu.
Try holding the home button down and plug in the phone to iTunes.
Keep holding the home in till iTunes detects an iPhone in recovery mode.

NEVER EVER JAILBREAK AN iPHONE WITH A BROKEN LOCK BUTTON. With that said, you are screwed. Unless that Tiny Umbrella program works for you

Try letting the battery die and then try the trick I said above by holding the home down and plugging it to iTunes.
If that also doesn't work you will need to fix the power button in order to use the phone again.

Yeap follow what aj posted above.

I bet you jb an OTA updated iPhone 5 😉

He probably did.

With OTA updates being pretty common now, there should be at least a warning on the jailbreaking program that if the phone was updated OTA, problems will occur. 😱

Isn't it public knowledge to only jb from full restore? It might even be said in the evasion app 😱

well it's on their page right below the links... kids these days need everything on a silver platter lol

Why on earth would you jailbreak a phone you couldn't even reboot if something went wrong? OP's only hope is to follow AppleJuiced's advice.

You have a broken device and didn't acknowledge a simple warning (ota update).

You are probably out of options now, try the home button trick again - there is no reason for it to come 'out of recovery mode'. Otherwise you probably need to get that lock button fixed :S
