since the iphone 1.1.2 cannot be unlocked yet...can i use my iphone as an ipod and connect it to my computer if i have jailbreak-ed it?

No. To my understanding the 1.1.2 iPhone firmware must be functional to be jailbroken and since the 1.1.1 unlocks were broken in 1.1.2 you might be out of luck unless you can find a way to downgrade an unactivated 1.1.2 unit to 1.1.1.

If you downgrade and jailbreak you CAN use it as an ipod touch. I did😀

If I buy a new iPhoone from Apple in the US and want to unlock it in Europe should I get it activated via AT&T then cancel or leave it unactivated??
