Why do you have an Apple SSD? To my knowledge, those Mac mini's didn't come with SSDs.

It is probably the RAM or the SSD (virtual memory) or the SSD cable. I believe the OS X kernel loads file system drivers such as com.apple.filesystems.msdosfs in the RAM, and if the RAM is faulty (i.e. the OS finds corrupted code/data at a certain RAM address) it causes a kernel panic.

thanks! could you tell me where you read that from?

I tried replacing the ram and it does not KP anymore, but the same rams works on another machine of the same spec with the same ssd and ssd cable... hmmm

Hmm. The panic does say "page fault", which I normally associate with memory issues. (Not that I know how to read kernel panics, though.)

Sometimes, memory problems can be subtle. If the RAM itself doesn't generate an error when trying to write to a bad spot, you'll only notice a problem when reading from it and getting bad data. And if there aren't too many bad spots, that may not happen very often.

You might want to try out a memory tester to see if it can find any bad blocks...

memtest checks out good on both 2010, but just one refuses to use it and often restarts on its own or restarts safari. I even tried to use everything the same except the mobo with the rams. The mobo works perfectly with another set of rams too though.

I had also reset NVRAM, reinstall OS X, upgraded the firmware too. Seems like different batches of base Mac mini 2010 do have some differences too lol
