I'm running iSync (and HotSync) to synchronize my G4 iBook with my Palm Centro, and it's never had any problems until today. Suddenly, though, iSynch can't detect the device. I've tested the USB ports, and they're sending power and receiving data correctly. The Centro is receiving power from the iBook, so my first thought is that the data cable is OK. HotSync can still "see" both the iBook and the Centro, so the problem doesn't appear to be there either. And it's not a Leopard thing, because I'm running Tiger.
I repaired permissions, but it didn't help.
What's next? Re-install iSync?😕
