Okay, so I jailbroke my ipod touch a few days ago and it kinda stalled so i went to reset it. after that, i can't have access to my ipod touch! It keeps getting stalled at the apple boot logo and the line, which shows no progress at all.

I've tried reseting it once every 5 minutes, as seen from some online forums, it doesnt work. Im so desperate!!! And i also tried leaving it alone, and not touching it for one whole day, it still stays at that screen.

Best thing is that i cant connect to my computer's itunes to restore as my ipod touch is locked with a password and once i do connect my itouch to my comp, a pop up comes up, saying i would need to unlock my ipod to access the files. HELP ME PLEASE SOMEONE HELP.

What do you mean by reset it?

Anyways, you can always put the device into DFU mode and restore that way

i tried to put in DFU mode but it fails. everytime i connect to the comp, my ipod wont shut off at all. no matter how long i hold the home and lock button for.

I used redsn0w, to jailbreak 5.1.1 and it's ipod touch 2g

A big no no of jailbreaking, Don't touch the reset settings.. Ever ;)

Your in a boot loop.

1.Turn your iPod off completely (Hold both Home and Power for a few seconds)

2. Hold power for 3 seconds (Top button)

3. Hold home while still holding power down for 10 seconds

4. Release power and keep holding home for another 10 seconds or so.

5.Connect to iTunes and restore.

Edit: Don't connect to iTunes until after your in recovery. Just keep holding home and power until it dies, even if it turns back on just keep holding the buttons down.

Btw how did you get 5.1.1 on a 2G? The highest FW I could get was 4.2

You can't get 5.1.1 on the 2G. The highest version for the 2G is 4.2.1.

It's not even that. It got switched to 4.2. I guess Apple realized they stopped signing on 4.2.1 which has one of the better jailbreaks. 4.2 only has tethered I think..
