help me using recovery mode

I stay in a hostel and we need to use a proxy to connect to the internet.
i have a problem with mac and want to install os again . i switched on my mac holding option key. But to use to download the os i need internet . but i am not able to acess internet as there is no way to put proxy . So, please help me is there any way i can use proxy in that mide please help.
