sterling grey for sure.
and while white looks good too it gets incredibly dirty incredibly fast, so if you enjoy washing your car this is the color for you.

Black, its the coolest color, I mean its a show stopper when you see a black mustang. If I were to choose another color, it would be the red but in a distance second :)

Red or white.

Black, grey (and silver) are all overdone. Very boring. You can say the same thing about the white, but it happens to look good on the Mustang.

The blue is ok for some people, but it's not my style at all. It's a personal preference.

I'd choose the red. ;)

actually black is the worst color in regards of dirt ...

white cars actually do ok in that regard

edit: i would go for red or white

Black only if it's a garage kept car, without threat of hail, falling acorns or road debris. It will show everything and need to be washed weekly.

Depends on what kind of person you are. It seems you're in Cali, and probably a guy because you avatar gives that impression. Here's my thoughts

White -for girls
Black - boring
Grey - old man, working drone
Blue - gay
Red -

The blue is a horrible shade. I would go with either grey or red. Black is over done and won't help you in traffic when it's dark (though the grey wouldn't be any better but it's easier to spot) and the white will force you to keep it clean more than you like.

Well your on a Mac forum, and the white iPhone is "all the craze"... but aside from that, white is low maintenance and with black wheels you get a nice (and trendy, look @ VWs) Panda look. BEAUTIFUL car though, I'm sure you'll love it no matter what color.

If you were getting a Boss, I'd say White. But on a regular GT, Black looks the best on the newer Mustangs. That way, when you get the awesome "Glass Roof" option (like you should ;)), the dark roof color doesn't look out of place with the rest of the car. If for some reason you don't get the Glass Roof, then Grabber Blue is an excellent, historic color on Mustangs.

I would go for the Grabber Blue just to be different from the crowd and looks good. Of course you are getting a car that everybody including your grandmother has.

Only problem with Grabber Blue is that everyone and their mom is getting it too though.

History aside, Grabber Blue looks really cheap, like a toy car blue IMO.

Personal opinion? None. I would not get a Mustang. It's an American car which makes it a big no-no in my book.

But if you absolutely must - I would go either grey or blue. Hate loud colors because cops will notice them instantly. That's not to say you can't get a ticket for speeding in a grey car but red is just asking for it. Imho, only something of Ferrari caliber can be painted red.

actually getting noticed more easily is an advantage: statistics show cars with bright colors like yellow, flashy green/red, and white are less likely to have accidents.. while dark colors, black silver/grey are more likely

as for ferrari: Giallo Modena (Modena Yellow) is the only color any car enthusiastic should get with a Ferrari...

White = Kinda girly looking. Also, whenever I see a white sports car, it reminds me of this;

Black = Go with this one
Gray = I'd go for this as a secondary color choice
Blue = Looks like a Hot Wheels car
Red = Look at me officer, YES, I am speeding. Please give me a ticket.

I'm usually not a huge Mustang fan, but I think the white one looks really nice. After that I'd go with black.

Thanks for all the replies! Fyi the car will be garaged and not driven daily so black might work... lol

I hate seeing scratches & swirl marks so that's why I wanted opinions on lighter colors that wouldn't have them show up as much. Race red is absolutely gorgeous in person, tough decision!
