Hey all! I am having a maddening time setting up my base station. I've had this thing for years and it has always been painless to setup. I recently moved and the thing doesn't want to cooperate.

The old setup was DSL modem->base station->airport->10 year old g4.

New setup is this:

Cable modem->basestation-> airport->old computer.

This is setup works only one way: my computer's airport card is the only thing that can receive internet from the base station. If I try to connect my comp vie the LAn connection on the base station, no dice. If I try and connect my iphone, it connects but no internet. My iphone connects to the computer via he base station but will not work (as in not being able to verify itunes remote passcode). The wii wont connect.

I have performed a hard reset. Verified WEP password etc etc.

Any suggestions?

-I'd like to connect my comp to the airport via ethernet and bypass my airport card (it interferes with the sync on my sound card).
What is the correct ay to set this up?

I appreciate the help! -Hugo

Solved... involved a restarting of cable modem after restarting base station. :D
