Hello,

So, I'm running my new Mac, love it. I have some questions, some mysterious shared stuff is happening.

First, there is a 'PC Server' showing up in the Shared listing in Finder. I have all sharing turned off [well, nothing is clicked on in the Shared folder in Preferences]. This might be the other PC laptop in my network, but when I google the shared name, it shows up as the email address in a bunch of strange places, like spam filters, etc...could it be my linksys router?

Secondly, I created a new account and clicked 'Get Info'. I saw under Shared + Permissions that I could read and write, and 'Staff' and 'Everyone' could also read. Who is 'Staff' and 'Everyone'?

Those are the first two I've encountered so far.

Thanks for any help, I just want to make sure I am secure.

Best - MD
