My dad said he’s not getting the X because next year’s Iphone is going to also run Windows?! I have no interest in this...but I was just wondering if I had totally missed this. And why??!? On earth would you want an iPhone that runs windows?!

Why would this kind of thing be even remotely believable enough for a thread about it?

He told me someone from Apple said this.

I texted my mom and asked her if he was drinking heavily!
And any of that makes it sound believable somebow to really warrant a thread?

Because I was honestly curious if I had missed something. Good grief. If you don’t like a thread then move along. We are all big kids here...or at least I am.

I mean this comes off not that far off from something like suddenly wondering if Earth is really flat because someone mentioned it. Some things are obviously unrealistic enough just on their own that even wondering about them comes off as kind of silly. But perhaps that's just my take on it.

Yes, it's true. My neighbor's uncle delivers the coffee cups used in the Apple employee cafeteria and he has it on good authority from the lead cashier that they are, indeed, working on a new phone that will operate a Windows OS.

Hmm I am guessing when your dad went in the internet he had just polished off a bowl of cornflakes with vodka instead of milk. Windows on mobile has practically drowned in a puddle.
