Help! Menu Bar Not Working

I was using iChat and the system froze up. I did a force restart, and everything that used to sit on the right side of the menu bar (save 1) is gone. I used to have the time, iStat menu's, spotlight, sound, and a battery icon but now they're gone. The only icon left is for desktop manager and it still works. When I try to put time and date, iStat menu's and other icons back up there, it give's me an error. I have a screen shot of what my desktop looked like a week and a half ago and I have one of what it looks like now. Anybody here have a similar experience or a fix?
