Hello. I've searched but could not find any answers.

I've been using Office 2011 for Mac on my MBP for about three months now (imported Outlook pst database file from a Windows PC). Everything worked fine until yesterday when the system crashed and it gave me a message to turn it off by pressing the power button. It happened a few times before so I did not worry about it much so went ahead and restarted the system.

When I opened an Outlook after a reboot, it asked me to rebuild the database and I did. But, it keeps failing to rebuild the database with the message 'Microsoft Database Utility has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.'

Below is a detailed error message from MS Database Utility Error Report:

Does anyone know why it fails to fix the database? I tried to restore from a time machine backup from a week ago, but it gives me the same error.

I use Outlook everyday at work and it contains very very important e-mails received and sent. I'll lose three months worth of e-mails if the the database cannot be rebuilt properly.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!
