I have a problem with my MacBook Pro not charging. It powers on now with the power lead plugged in, but the sleep light flashes several times before it boots.

At the minute the battery says it's 40% charged but not charging.

I had a problem with the DC input board before which was replaced, but now I think either the battery needs replacing or the charger is faulty.

I have downloaded coconutBattery and this is what it shows.

Suggestions? I have already reset PRAM/VRAM.

Try a SMC reset.

Hm, I thought I tried this one before too come to think of it... but it does seem to be charging again now. Will see how long it lasts!

Thanks :)

Checked the battery health in coconutBattery again and it does seem healthy

Okay I spoke too soon. I took my MBP off charge to test it. It took a while to turn on but eventually did. I see no battery display in the menu bar, and running coconutBattery now shows the following:

Is now a good time to say I'm running the Catalina public betas? *shrugs*
