help when i close my ibooks lid its wonky on the right side what the hell's wrong with it
This happened to mine which is now my sisters. I put it down to old age and continuous use.
Do you often pull that side of the screen to open it and close it. That could be why.
NO!, I would never do that to my pretty but i did buy it second hand,
the fool before me corrupted the os so i put leopard on
before me it hadn't bin used for 3 years and its of 2005
so i blame that noob before me
lol, prolly just warped hinges, lol you said noob.
Wait a Sec....
I think this might be the culpret , look theres a gap between the screen and the screen "Besil"
and for some reason today I i got a TF: Beast machines
dvd through my door, i mean dvd no parcel, no address , it just appeared
and there was no one there
Whats next a macbook air on my pavment?
well any how
ya reckon a G clamp would help?
Someone Please help me I still have this problem arrgh...
what do I do to fix this?
Long shot, but maybe gently but firmly forcing it back into line? The case on my VCR did this too and I just had to keep pressing down on it and one day it just clicked into place.
I'd be careful though, an iBook is worth far more than a VCR, and its much more delicate too...
Looks like the hinge inside might be broken. It was probably dropped
