Should i go for it or not? Im thinking of selling my iMac and buy or switch for a MBP or a new MB.

    my iMac

    20"
    2.4 GHz Core 2 duo
    2 GB RAM
    Superdrive
    ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro

    Guy A MBP
    15"
    Intel Core Duo 2GHz
    2GB Minne 667MHz
    250GB Hårddisk
    ATI Radeon X1600 128MB
    Super-Drive, Airport Extreme, Bluetooth m.m.

    Too slow?

Guy B MBP, ill have to pay like 300 $ more
    15"
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 Ghz
    Ram 2048
    Hård disk 120
Grafik Nvidia GForce 8600GT 128 mb

    Not worth it?

    New Macbook Alu or White
    2.0 GHz
    Too small screen!

I hope people will answer neutral, this is why i post this in this part of the forum and not the Desktop or Laptop forum.

The iMac is the first alu version and soon they will update them which will make me get less if i sell it. I had it for 1 year and the MBP im buying will probably be 2 years old and 2.0 or 2.2 maybe 2.4 GHz if i can afford it.

Are 2 years old MBPs a bit too old? I know that laptops have shorter life time than desktops. I rarely use my iMac for anything that requires much power and when i want power like when i play WoW or emulates PS2 it sort of sucks compared to my PS3 and i have also quit WoW recently.

    So, is it worth it?

Should i exchange my iMac for a 2006/early 2007 MBP with 2.0 to 2.2 GHz or should i buy a new Macbook and have to pay like 400 extra? Maybe i should get the classic white, its very cheap.
