Help: My Keyboard won't light up!

Yesterday my keyboard would light up, but today when I hit the F5/F6 keys to light up the keys, It won't light them, and it will show the icon with a no sign.
How to fix this?

I'm using a 13" 2010 MBP

Has anything been spilt on it?

Also have you tried a restart etc?

Never mind, it seems the 2010 macbook pro's only let you turn on the keys under low light conditions, covering the sensor near the camera at the top with my hands, seems to trick the system into thinking it's in a low light condition, thus re-enabling the feature.
