i am running ios 7.1.2, i decided to try to restore 7.1.2 using pangu! well that didn't go as planned because now i am stuck on the connect to itunes screen 🙁 anyway to get around this (without updating)

I don't think Pangu can restore unsigned firmware.

what phone do you have, unless it is a 4 you are not able to do what you want AFAIK

In that case you can only restore to 8.1

And hurry....restore to 8.1 and jailbreak again with Pangu 1.2. IOS 8.1.1 is just around the corner and than, it will be to late.
