😡

Hi everyone;

Am a Media Teacher at a Western Australian High School that is primarily Mac.

Recently purchased 15 'Digitech XC0255' Digital Voice recorders for our Radio Journalism class.

The recorders save their output with a 'S16' extension!

Have 'trawled' the net and have found, with a lot of searching a PC program to convert these sound files to MP3 or WAV, BUT no luck with a MAC program.

Digitech appears not to have a webpage.

Have found 'SoundConverter', but it does not recognise 'S16' file extensions.

Does anyone know of a program that does work with 'S16'? Prefer freeware/shareware, but will pay for site licence if I must.

Can I rename the 'S16' to a similar extension that 'SoundConverter' will recognize?

😡😡😡

Desperately need help!

Regards

Darren
