Help Needed 2012 MacBook Air

Hi all,

Was having the folder with question mark icon appear on my MacBook Air so read a few articles and trying to reinstall OS.

Tried using the Cmd-R and selecting reinstall OSX but then getting this far and can’t select disk?

Have I done something to my HDD? Is there a way back from this and can it be resolved to make this is a useable device again?

If your Mac starts up to a question mark - Apple Support

A folder with a flashing question mark means that your computer's startup disk is no longer available or doesn't contain a working Mac operating system.

Did you do the Disk Utility part? Follow items on link above. If that doesn't work I'm guessing your drive might be bad..
