Can someone please walk me through the process of booting my Leopard disc from one iMac G5 to another? It won't boot from USB so I am trying to do it by connecting a firewire cable between the two computers. For the record, I tried holding down the option key while starting up my computer (the Leopard disc being in the other computer) and selected Mac OS X and the clicked on the right arrow, but it still doesn't seem to boot from the disc. Am I doing something wrong? I have a 1.8GHz processor with over 1 G of RAM. It is one of the earlier G5 models with no iSight and without the Intell Processor.

You need to use a firewire cable and boot using Target Disk mode by holding the T key, by doing this the mac you boot using Target disk mode will act as an external Hard Disk drive so you connect can connect it to the other mac.
