Help needed. Delete Icon in Menu Bar

Hi, New poster here.

Not a major issue but I had previously installed and the n deleted Intego virus software from their site. Having deleted the program, and then run the uninstall app off their site, the icon is still appearing in my menu bar. I can drag and drop as it doesn't allow me to. Can anyone help me remove it ?😕

The only effective method for complete app removal is manual deletion:

hold the CMD (⌘) key, then drag it off.

You may have to reinstall the program and then remove it properly with the uninstaller. It sounds like you tried to just move the program to the Trash and then ran the uninstaller.

Just found that I also had netscape on which the icon was supporting. Have since uninstalled netscape and icon has now gone. Problem solved
