    I am running a G4, PowerBook G4, IBook G4, and a MacBook in my home at different times. We have been doing fine until just this weekend. Now it appears the router (Linksys) is causing the modem to drop our internet signals.

    Anyhow, I am thinking that we need a new router. Is the Airport Extreme better to use with MACs than the DLinks or Linksys? If so, can you explain why?

    Thanks so much. :apple::apple::apple:

    I was having this exact same problem with my MacBook and a D-Link router, I "fixed" it by making my Airport Express its own wireless router/network, now everything else connects via the d-link and my MacBook connects via the Airport Express.
