Hey Guys,

I've just connected my Macbook (early 2009) to my TV using the mini-dvi to VGA adapter and a male/male VGA cable.

The picture is picking up with no issues but the sound is coming from my MacBook not the TV.

Do I need additional cables to get the audio from my TV instead of my MacBook? Or do I need to adjust my settings?

Sorry if this issue has already been answered but I couldn't find the thread.

Thanks in advance for your help.

VGA is video only. (And analog video at that.)
IF you want the sound coming out of the TV, you'll need to run a cable from your laptop's audio out to your TV's audio in, if it has it.
