Help needed with new iphone on Cincy Bell and SIM card data

Just got a new unlocked 3G iphone and insterted my Cincinnati Bell SIM card and phone works great..however....all the contact information I saved to my SIM card does not show up on the iphone. Any ideas how to make this happen or do I need to manually enter my whole contact list?
(My SIM card is from my Motorola v3i if that makes any difference)
