HELP!! new macbook not charging/starting up

Heyz,

I received my macbook earlier today.

The battery ran empty, it does not seem to be charging, I can't turn it on anymore....
I've been waiting so long and I'm completely freaking out now 🙁 🙁 🙁

Take it in to Apple. That is not normal behavior.

I've seen three other people with this in the last day or so, and one from a week ago. Apple support tried a couple of things, got nowhere, we're taking the machine in to an apple store on Thursday.

So it's not normal, but it's not unheard of.

Same issue here. MacBook only a couple weeks old. Taking it to the Apple Store Thursday.
