Where ever my life takes me...
I recently installed a secondary SSD drive into my 13" MBP (2.5GHz, 4GB of RAM).

I used carbon copy to copy the OS and applications to the new SSD.

Has anyone performed this upgrade? If so, how did you remove the OS and other duplicate items from your old drive?

Disk Utility. You can format the old one in there.

I kept the original drive as a backup and update it with CCC periodically. Makes a nice backup boot drive in addition to my other backups.
