But nobody said it wasn't a conductor, they said it was not a good conductor so I don't get why you keep saying "it's a conductor" when nobody said it wasn't?
A conductor and a good conductor are two different things.
 
Well, just as an update, I took my computer into the IT department at my school on Saturday. They took it apart for me and cleaned it but are planning on holding on to it until Wednesday, it apparently needs to dry out?
They said they found oil beneath the cd-rom and the battery, but not the hard drive.
 
Probably too late, but if the MacBook is still running, it might not be to prevent it doing any logic board damage. Your real issue is going to be getting the oil out of the chassis. And if you ever have to go in for warranty issues, Apple will see all that crap inside your laptop in a heartbeat. This is what recipe books are for...

and printers, smart phones, pencil& paper etc...
