For those of you who have upgraded to Snow Leopard, this may seem like a no-brainer, but I'm wanting to upgrade my Leopard to its Snow brother (or sis) but I prefer not do a clean install. When I reboot the computer, where is there the option for upgrade only or clean install? All I see is Install and when I click that it starts to install. I jump out of there quickly 'cause I don't want it to erase my drive, just in case...

Will clicking on install only upgrade it while keeping my programs intact? (hopefully) Doesn't seem clear to me and rather ask than be sorry. I have many programs installed and don't want to spend days re-installing them. Guess my time is limited for all that....

Thank you, all!

Johnny

Putting the DVD in and doing nothing more than installing, without customizing any options, will upgrade Mac OS X 10.5 to Mac OS X 10.6.

All your user data and applications will be preserved and accessible like before.
